As a submission to the Land Art Generator Initiative, the design of the park recalls the temporality of a site located in Copenhagen, Denmark to regenerate the land through an immersive park installation. Relative to wind patterns and soil contamination, interventions are implemented into the site to cyclically alternate between collecting energy and excavating the soil. During excavation, the machines unearth and redistribute the contaminated soil while phytoremedial plants are utilized to create a natural integrity within the sculpted landscape. In the changing environment, the users experience the harsh realities of contamination and scale of impact. Once the transformation is complete, the land returns to a natural state revealing a coexistence between the machines, the natural environment and its inhabitants.
